This thoroughly researched book is the best work reflecting the history of our Town. Mrs.
Miller, a long-time resident of Glasgow, includes history of this area from the days well before
the Chartering of Glasgow. Most of the information on the Glasgow History Page on this
website came from this book. With thanks to Mrs. Miller, some of the photographs in the
Glasgow History Picture Page are from this book.
Mrs. Miller has purchased the remaining books from the publisher
and she has them for sale at the Town Hall. There will not be another
