Men’s Prayer Breakfast - The Men of Glasgow Presbyterian started an ecumenical prayer breakfast many
years ago. The group is now considered independent of the church. Meetings are held every Wednesday
from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Pink Cadillac restaurant. Men of several denominations including
Presbyterian, Baptist, Pentecostal, Episcopalian, Methodist, and Catholic regularly attend the meetings.
Women of the Church - The women of the church meet on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM in the
church fellowship hall. These meetings consist of Bible Study, fellowship over dessert, and the discussion of
mission projects.
Bible Study - Bible Study groups are frequently held and meet at different times. Call or e-mail the church for
information about upcoming Bible studies.
Session - The session meets at 7:00 PM on the second Monday of each month.
Food Pantry - The church is a devoted sponsor of the Glasgow/Natural Bridge Food Pantry.
Two Cents A Meal - The church participates regularly in a program which encourages the donation of two
cents for each meal. A portion of these funds is used for support of hunger and shelter programs in Glasgow.
The remainder is used by the Presbytery of the Peaks to supports similar programs throughout the presbytery.
