October 1900- Constituted as Glasgow Baptist Church

September 1901- Received into the Augusta Association

1900's- New building constructed on Fitzlee on property donated by William A. Anderson and William G. Matthews

1940's- Baptistery was added

1950's- Construction continued with the addition of Sunday School area
     - Glasgow baptist Church became a part of the newly formed Natural bridge Baptist Association

July, 1969- Plans made for constructing a new building
  
June, 1971- Eugene Campbell , pastor: Building program under way, to be financed through the
               sale of mortgage bonds.

October, 1972- Cornerstone laid- A donation made by Mrs. Lida Edminister in memory of her parents, Dr. John and Mrs. (Sallie)
Cleveland enabled the church to complete the Sunday School section. Most of the labor for this project was furnished by the church
members along with some of the needed furnishings.

March 25th, 1973- Doors opened for the first service in new building.

June 3rd, 1973- Building dedicated to the " Glory of God"

July 1973- Rev. Frank Petty called as pastor- New growth, both in Spirit and number were experienced. More improvements made to
the building and grounds, along with paying off church debt.

November 1986- Rev. Bill Thomas called as pastor- the church continue to grow, in number and spirit. Many additions and
improvements have been made to enhance the church's ministry: New Organ, sound system, hymn books, hearing assist system, pew
Bibles, audio and video equipment, new chairs and tables for several Sunday School classes, mission offerings continue to increase,
ministry teams have become active, 15 passenger van purchased, all "to the Glory of God"
