I have over fifteen year’s police experience when combining the State Of New York, State Of Maryland and the
State Of Virginia. I started with the New York City Police Department in April of 1990. After successfully
completing the Police Academy for six months, I was assigned patrol duties in the Bronx, New York area. I
received advance training in riot control, interaction with the public, diplomatic situations, stress management and
community policing. I also worked with the Bronx Task Force, which was a mobilization unit used in riot situations,
demonstrations, protests, parades, large gatherings or disasters.
In September 1994, I transferred to the Geneva Police Department, which was a smaller Department and gave me
the opportunity to work closer with the community. I continued to develop my public relation skills, police
knowledge, and performed public speaking on varies topics such as drug awareness and crime prevention in the
community. I supervised and ran the police department when no ranking Supervisor was working.
In July 2001 I joined the Pocomoke City Police Department, in Maryland, as a Certified Police Officer. I worked
uniform patrol with the Pocomoke City police Department. I usually supervised officers with less experience when
working my shift.
In March 2003 I took the position as Town Sergeant for the Town of Glasgow.
Additionally, I have worked a second job in personal security for about ten years. The second employment gave
me the opportunity to interact with people and constantly develop my skills in law enforcement and safety. I have
held different security positions over the years providing security for businesses, residential buildings, banks,
money escorts, alarm responses, large gatherings, and employee security. I supervised and trained unarmed and
newly hired security officers during my years in personal security.
