Real Estate Tax	$0.185 per $100 assessed value
Personal Property Tax	Automobiles = $0.85 per $100 assessed value  Mobile Homes = $.0175 per $100 assessed value  Machinery & Tools = $0.60 per $100 assessed value  Furniture & Fixtures = $0.85 per $100 assessed value
Motor Vehicle Decals	Automobiles = $25.00 (must be on vehicle every year by April 15th)  Motorcycles = $9.00 (must be on vehicle every year by April 15th)  Moped/Scooter = $5.00 (does not expire - one time fee)

Town of Glasgow Residential - Monthly Fees
New Water Account (Home Owner) - $70.00 one time fee (details: new account fee, first months bill) New Water Account (Renter) - $160.00 one time fee (details: 2 months deposit, new account fee and first months bill)
Water / Wastewater & Garbage	Water = $13.00  Wastewater = $30.00  Garbage = $2.00  Total Monthly Fees = $45.00

Town of Glasgow Businesses - Monthly Fees
New Business Water Account = $25.00 one time fee
Water / Wastewater & Garbage	Water = $13.00 for the first 6,000 gallons  ($.75 cents for every 1,000 gallons after the initial 6,000 gallons)  Sewer =$30.00 for the first 6,000 gallons  ($1.00 for every 1,000 gallons after the initial 6,000 gallons)  Trash = $2.00

Building / Zoning Permit  Endorsement	Town Building / Zoning Permit = $35.00  This form must be obtained by  the Town before  applying for a  County  of  Rockbridge building permit for any new construction  or structural modifications.  Click Here for the Application.
Bulk Water (Business Only)	Bulk Water - $13 - First 6,000 gallons  ($2.50 for every 1,000 gallons after initial 6,000 gallons)
Bulk Water (Residential Only)	Bulk Water - $13 - First 6,000 gallons  ($1.75 for every 1,000 gallons after initial 6,000 gallons)
Septage Dumping	$60.00 for every 1,000 gallons received
Dog Licenses (Tags)	Male - $5.00  Female - $7.50  Spayed - Neutered - $2.50  We sell County Dog Tags at Town Hall on behalf of the County of Rockbridge,  these tags must be on your dog by January 31st of every year. Shot records  are  required.
