The Glasgow Garden Club has been working with a
local arborist to develop a plan to replace many of
the aging trees along Blue Ridge Road. The Town
Council will review the plan at their July meeting.
Over the past few years we have lost many of
these once beautiful trees to wind and aging. The
Club plans to plant new trees in the Fall of 2007
and has announced Memorial opportunities.
Memorial prices range from $75 to $160. If you are
interested in purchasing a tree in memory of a
loved one, please contact Elaine Massie at
258-2301.
